Rap superstar 50 Cent was owned in a head-to-head duel with rival Kanye West when they both released CDs on the same day in 2007. Now Fiddy’s back with an album and a movie, both titled “Before I Self Destruct,” and this time there’s no trash-talking about retiring if it’s not No. 1.

“It’s a lot of pressure at different points to live up to standards that may not be achievable from the artist’s standpoint,” he told the Herald. “They put you up against yourself. They don’t say, ‘Do you think 50 Cent is better than another rapper?’ Now they’re gonna be saying, ‘Do you think he can do it again?”
