Kelly Dugan, the Philadelphia Phillies No. 1 draft pick, signed an agreement with his new ball club on the Essex set of “Grown Ups,” Adam Sandler’s made-in-Mass. comedy, because his dad, Dennis Dugan, happens to be the film’s director!

Dennis Dugan directed Sandler’s “Happy Gilmore,” “You Don’t Mess With the Zohan,” and “Big Daddy.” His new flick, “Grown Ups,” stars Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider, all of whom are Dennis’ longtime friends and who have known Kelly for many years
