Defender Emmanuel Osei contributes forward

FOXBORO - Revolution defender Emmanuel Osei showed the Fire defense he could be an attacking threat five minutes before he scored his first MLS goal in first-half stoppage time in yesterday’s 2-1 playoff win over Chicago.

Fellow defender Jay Heaps slid a ball back into his path and Osei whacked a first-time shot just wide. The rare foray forward let everyone in on a secret his teammates had known for quite some time.
