FOXBORO - In order to advance to the MLS Eastern Conference final for the seventh time in eight years, the Revolution will have to erase a franchise’s worth of bad playoff memories in Chicago.

Six previous postseason trips to the Windy City have yielded six losses. On three of those occasions, the Fire have ended the Revolution’s season, including a 3-0 drubbing in the second game of last year’s Eastern Conference semifinals.
