DETROIT - The irony was hard to overlook: As Phil Kessel [stats] played his first game for Toronto and fired 10 shots on goal, the Bruins [team stats] offense looked more anemic than ever.
The Bruins had ample chances last night, including two solid post shots, but they continued to fire blanks and were stymied by Chris Osgood and the Red Wings, 2-0.
