Michael Kearney and J.J. Battaglia have been deadly on restarts all season long. Yesterday, the duo hooked up at a perfect time.

Kearney headed home a direct kick from Battaglia with 16 minutes left in regulation to give top-seeded Cardinal Spellman (24-0) its first-ever sectional title, 2-1, over Westport in the Div. 3 South final at Weymouth High.
