SUTTON - Duxbury golf coach Jack Stoddard spent the past two weeks asking his players to keep up the commitment to their games they had demonstrated all season. The request was honored in full.

Led by outstanding performances by juniors Jonathan Stoddard (even-par 72) and James Magner (75), the Dragons finished with a team score of 313 to edge Sandwich (315) and capture the Division 2 state championship yesterday at Blackstone National Golf Club.
