The Boston City League boys soccer championship game was set yesterday, as East Boston defeated Hyde Park, 7-2, and Madison Park snuck past Burke in the 79th minute, 2-1.

The Jets (15-1), who lost to Burke in last year’s City League championship, were propelled by Carlos Ruiz, who recorded three goals and an assist. In the other semifinal, Rafael Silveira scored with less than two minutes remaining to break a 1-1 tie with the defending champs. Pedro DaSilva had the other goal for the Cardinals (14-4), while Beithoven Baesa made five saves.
