ROCKLAND - No one on the Abington bench would dare admit they were thinking about it, especially to the coaching staff. But as Steve Perakslis trotted out to the mound to begin the seventh inning, it was surely on everyone’s minds.

Up by seven, Abington was just three outs away from a crowded dogpile around the Division 3 South sectional championship trophy. But there was one other piece of business to take care of - secure Perakslis’ first no-hitter of his career.
