Sophomore quarterback Ken Brodie stepped in for starter Mike Smith (flu) and led Southeastern to a huge Mayflower Large League victory in a 16-0 shutout over Cape Cod/Harwich last night.
In his first career start, Brodie ran the option to perfection in the second half and accumulated 53 yards on the ground on only eight carries. Mike Sacks added 81 yards with a touchdown and two two-point conversions and the win keeps Southeastern in the hunt with Bristol-Plymouth for the league title.
