Lincoln-Sudbury defense denies Acton-Boxboro, Bill Maver

ACTON - Lincoln-Sudbury didn’t play the perfect football game last night at Leary Field, but the Warriors came close enough, dealing a damaging blow to Dual County League Large rival Acton-Boxboro in a 7-0 upset victory.

L-S (3-6, 1-2), which denied Colonials coach Bill Maver in his first attempt at his 200th career victory, scored the only touchdown of the game on its first possession of the night.
