Northeastern, Chris Rawlings blank Terriers

Freshman goalie Chris Rawlings stopped all 43 shots delivered by fifth-ranked Boston University as Northeastern defeated the Terriers, 1-0, last night in a Hockey East game before a soldout Matthews Arena crowd.
Junior Wade MacLeod scored with 7:29 left in the third period during a power play with BU’s Alex Chiasson serving a two-minute minor for interference.
The game-winner was set up by Huskies Mike Hewkin and Jake Newton.
The Terriers (2-4) put 19 shots on Rawlings during the second period alone.
NU (3-3) won despite playing the last five minutes shorthanded.
Sophomore Kieran Millan made 19 saves for BU.
Boston College 4, New Hampshire 4 - Mike Sislo, Paul Thompson and Bobby Butler scored third-period goals as the Wildcats (2-4-2) rallied to tie the visiting Eagles (2-2-1) in Durham, N.H.
BC jumped ahead 3-0 on first-period goals by Tommy Cross and Carl Sneep (twice). The Eagles were up 4-1 after two periods.
John Muse had 27 saves for BC as Wildcats goalie Brian Foster stopped 32 pucks.
UMass-Lowell 3, Vermont 3 - Justin Milo’s goal at 8:55 of the third period allowed the host Catamounts (2-3-1) to tie the River Hawks (4-2-1).
Nick Schaus, Paul Worthington and Chris Auger scored as UMass-Lowell went up 3-1 in the second period.
UMass-Lowell goalie Nevin Hamilton stopped 34 shots as Rob Madore (19 saves) was in net for the Catamounts.
UMass 4, Niagara 1 - Michael Lecomte scored twice for the Minutemen (5-1) in this nonconference win over the Purple Eagles (0-6-1) in Amherst.
UMass goalie Paul Dainton stopped 31-of-32 shots.
Daniel Hobbs and David Boehm also scored for UMass as the Minutemen spotted Niagara a 1-0 lead in the first period.
Holy Cross 4, Sacred Heart 2 - Jay Silvia had a pair of goals for the Crusaders (3-3-1) in a Atlantic Hockey win over the Pioneers (2-3-1) in Worcester.
