CHICAGO - Mark Kotsay understands why the Red Sox [team stats] let him go. Considering the circumstances, he’d have done the same thing.

But even if he wasn’t showing it outwardly after the White Sox’ 12-2 victory last night, he had to feel good about showing his ex-teammates what they were missing.
