Red Sox left fielder Jason Bay married an American, has two American daughters and makes his living playing America’s pastime. Now he can say he’s an American, too.
The 30-year-old from Trail, British Columbia, was among 360 people to become U.S. citizens yesterday in a naturalization ceremony at Faneuil Hall.

Is he going to run through the Ourtfield waiving the American Flag?
as he was already a citizen of one of the many Nations that are within the Americas surely he could have considered himself an "American" long before he even visited the United States.
now if we can get about 1 million undocumented illegals from Massachusetts to do the same, maybe we can get some taxes out of them.
Hopefully this means he'll be around in Boston for a WHILE!
Jason Bay did not commit a crime to get here. Unlike your 1 million illegals, he did not prove himself to be the type of person we don't want here. BTW, is he now an outfielder, or is he still an ootfielder?
