Bobby Abreu re-signs with Angels

Bobby Abreu had no interest in spending another winter - or even another week - without an employer. The Los Angeles Angels were only too happy to oblige the slugger who transformed their lineup this year.

The veteran outfielder agreed yesterday to a $19 million, two-year contract to stay with the Angels rather than test the free agent market again.

i guess "bobby bo" didn't want to entertain any interest in coming back east with the sox or yankees as the reason for re-upping so quickly.seeing and being reminded of the weather conditions back east during playoff time makes one decide they'd rather have smog and fire burnings.
