If Mariano Rivera throws the final pitch, that’s good for the Yankees

NEW YORK — Mariano Rivera has rested his reliable right arm for two days, so there won’t be any hesitation by manager Joe Girardi tonight in Game 6.

If the Yankees have a slight lead on the Phillies heading into the eighth inning, a sellout crowd should anticipate hearing the opening strains of "Enter Sandman" a cue for the bullpen doors to swing open at Yankee Stadium.
