Ethics committee: No punishment for Burris

WASHINGTON - The Senate ethics committee admonished a U.S. senator today for making "inconsistent, misleading or incomplete" statements about the circumstances surrounding his appointment to the Senate seat once held by Barack Obama. The committee recommended no action beyond the letter.
Sen. Roland Burris was appointed by disgraced former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, who was impeached and driven from office after he was accused of trying to sell the U.S. president’s vacated Senate seat.
Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, reigning over a gang of miscreants, malcontents and thieves.
When Pelosi said she was going to 'drain the swamp' of corruption on Capitol Hill, little did we know she was going to drain it right back into their own houses of Congress.
