DA: No charges of rape for cop

A sharpshooter on the city’s special ops unit will not be hit with a rape charge after a female officer accused him of attacking her, the district attorney announced.

Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley announced last night the case is being dropped after “a thorough review.”
