Dog catcher fired for giving away stray

STOUGHTON — Stoughton’s animal control officer has been fired for allegedly giving a stray dog away, even though she would have known how to find its owner.

Town Manager Mark Stankiewicz confirmed Friday that Kristin Bousquet no longer works for the town. He refused to disclose further details citing privacy issues.
