Patrick and House Speaker Robert A. DeLeo (D-Winthrop) are discussing the economy and health care on Capitol Hill this morning with members of the Massachusetts Congressional delegation.

They will speak with reporters with U.S. Rep. Edward Markey (D-Malden) at about 10:30 a.m.

Patrick and DeLeo are scheduled to meet with Axelrod, and later Obama, at the White House beginning at noon.

Other meetings on Patrick’s schedule are a session with Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle will join Patrick for meetings with Reid and Axelrod. Patrick is due to return to Boston later today.
