Critics say safety fixes should trump Deval Patrick’s MBTA expansion projects
Hit the brakes, gov!
Gov. Deval Patrick’s vow to continue more than $2 billion in MBTA expansion projects despite a blistering report ripping the T as unsafe and fiscally unstable makes little sense, analysts said.
“Why should we be thinking about these at a point in time when we’re not able to make basic investments in safety?” asked David Luberoff, executive director of the Rappaport Institute at Harvard University. “You don’t put a new addition on a house when the roof is leaking.”

The voting public at large had a chance to remove him from office for not doing his job and chose to pat him on the back instead. Now people are shocked that this idiot doesn't get it. He says he wants to fire 2000 employess, but did anyone notice the 2000 people are not the same 2000 friends and family he hired when he started. I'm not it went over most peoples heads. What a scum bag.
