Unhealthy competition

America can take one of two routes on health care reform: It can give the power of choice to its citizens, or give it to Washington. Unfortunately, Obama has chosen the latter.

President Barack Obama introduced his plan for sweeping health care reform on Monday in front of the American Medical Association in Chicago. One cannot deny that America’s health care system is in need of reform and that Obama is a convincing speaker. While this nation is still home of the world’s highest quality doctors and care, there are still many citizens without health insurance - some 46 million citizens, according to Obama.
