Bullying should be a part of every curriculum (“Survey: Bullies prey on autistic kids,” Nov. 13). I have a son with regressive autism and not only is he made fun of, his sister who was in the same school was also ridiculed. The counselor gave me a great book, “Bullies are a Pain in the Brain,” that helped my daughter stand up for herself.

This should be in the curriculum for all kids. If kids are asked to spend a little supervised time with kids on the spectrum, they are much less likely to bully. The fear of the unknown becomes irrelevant.
