Speak up for pets

Karen Powers is probably a good animal-loving person. She probably feels just awful (Nov. 2). But trust me, she doesn’t feel as awful as the family who dropped their dog off with her and never saw it alive again. My guess is the Bagleys are typical Americans with debt and mortgages and car loans but still they wanted their puppy taken care of and they paid a good price for this security.

Pets in a very short time become family. We need a change in our laws to hold people responsible! Animals can’t speak so we speak for them and on their behalf I am saying, “Help!”
