The New Orleans Saints were destiny’s team - a team meant to show the nation that their city, their culture, their spirit was back. And no hurricane could take away what was and remains theirs.

That Louisiana native Tracy Porter sealed the deal with a 74-yard interception return was simply proof that this was meant to be. And when quarterback Drew Brees, who with his family now calls the famed Garden District home, held up his young son, well, the past, present and the future were all right there - poignant and incredibly joyous.
