Ruth O’Neil Higginbotham

Ruth D. (Darling) O’Neil Higginbotham of Plainville, a retired police department secretary, died Thursday at her home after a lengthy illness. She was 83.

Born in Rochester, N.H., she was raised in Plainville. She lived in North Attleboro for many years and returned to Plainville in 1997. She graduated from the former Plainville High School in 1944.
