Brother Blue, flamboyant storyteller of the streets

Brother Blue, the Cambridge storyteller who practiced his craft on the streets, in prisons, in classrooms, on television and radio and anywhere else he could find an audience, died at age 88 at his home in Cambridge on Nov. 3.

Brother Blue was born Hugh Morgan in Cleveland on July 12, 1921. He received an undergraduate degree from Harvard, a masters in playwriting from Yale, and a Ph.D. in divinity from Union School.
