Get ready, “Guitar Hero” superstars. There’s a new game in town.

The next generation in the expanding music-meets-video game genre, “DJ Hero” ($99-$119, available for PlayStation 2 and 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii), has a lot to live up to. The game, which follows in the footsteps of “Guitar Hero” and “Rock Band,” casts players as virtual DJs spinning through a variety of prerecorded mixes using a turntable controller.
