Damone Biography
Tagging themselves after a character from the 1982 comedy Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Mike Woods (guitar/vocals), Noelle (vocals/guitar), Vazquez (bass), and Dustin Hengst (drums) make up the punk-pop group Damone. The band’s first album "From the Attic," was released in spring 2003 on RCA and included former guitarist Dave Pino. Shortly thereafter Pino quit the band, Damone was also let out of their contract with RCA, guitarist Mike Woods was added to the rock group, and Damone began writing songs for a second album. The spirited arena-rock inspired EP, "Out Here All Night," was self-released in fall 2005 before the full-length album of the same title marked their first release for Island/Def Jam, in 2006.
