Quick: Name the Boston-area club whose stage has been graced by Benny Goodman, Louis Armstrong, Loretta Lynn, Tiny Tim, the Dropkick Murphys and art thief/rock singer Myles Connor.

Stumped? It’s the Beachcomber, the 235-person-capacity club on Wollaston Beach in Quincy. In a region strewn with memories of clubs past - the Channel, the Jazz Workshop, Nightstage - the Beachcomber is in the midst of celebrating its 50 years in business.
