John Mayer’s been trying to get past a recent Playboy interview where he referred to his relationship with Jessica Simpson as “sexual napalm” and his penis as “sort of like a white supremacist” (it actually got worse from there).

At a Feb. 10 Nashville tour stop, the Berklee-dropout broke down in tears saying, “I just want to play my guitar to whomever is around.” He was contrite. He was humble. He was looking for forgiveness.
