‘This’ man’s truly amazing
Dead man dancing in “Michael Jackson’s This Is It,” and, boy, could he dance. The film, pieced together from 100 hours of rehearsal footage for his never-to-be concerts in London - concerts scheduled and contracted for before his untimely death last June - seems unfinished, and that is because it is unfinished: We will never see the show being rehearsed.
“This” really is his final curtain call. Jackson, a shockingly gaunt man with large hands and feet, a delicate head and a face that was both iconic and grotesque, speaks in that whispery, girlish voice, and yet commands attention, and when he sings and dances, which he does at half-speed most of the time, it is obvious he remained divinely gifted.
Michael looked GREAT! I do not agree with the critic here regarding his hands and feet being large and his face grotesque and a girlish like voice. Michael has always been mild mannered and soft spoken, it part of why WE ALL LOVE HIM SO MUCH. People were crying in the theatre saying "why is he gone and it's not fair! as the credits rolled. Be sure you stay until the very end, when you think it's over..IT'S NOT (enough said) I don't want to spoil the surprise. This is a MUST SEE and I will be purchasing this when it comes out on DVD. Michael made sure to sing the songs the way we heard them on the radio. This was important to him. He added some "extra" in Thriller which was new and fresh. His dance moves are sooooo smooth and his voice is beautiful. Don't believe anything else besides this and all know Michael had plenty of surgical procedures on his face because he was criticized as a child as having a "big nose". That was part of his heritage and behind the Pepsi incident, additional procedures had to be done. WE LOVE HIM ANYWAY. We have definitely lost a talent that will never be seen again in the years to come. We love you Michael and those of us who believe in Christ know we will see you again one day in heaven.
