CONCORD, N.H.— A New Hampshire restaurant wants to set the record for the world’s largest meatball.

Matthew Mitnitsky, the owner of Nonni’s Italian Eatery in Concord, says the restaurant is trying for the record Sunday afternoon. The big meatball will be rolled out for weighing by Guinness Book of World Records officials.

The event at the Holiday Inn also will feature meatball eating contests and a kids’ meatball ladle run. Activities run from noon to 3 p.m.

The record currently stands at 198.6 pounds.
