Steve Pagliuca shifts focus in ads

Boston businessman and novice politician Steve Pagliuca is sharpening his message in the U.S. Senate race, shifting the focus of his ads from his life story to his consumer protection plans.

“We’re highlighting Steve’s aggressive plan to regulate and crack down on abuses on Wall Street,” Pagliuca spokesman Will Keyser said yesterday about the campaign’s new television spots, which will roll out across the state starting this weekend.
