Survey: Tipping down during tough economic times

Americans have become more choosy about tipping at the holidays during tough economic times, according to a survey by Consumer Reports.

During the 2008 holidays, fewer people tipped their newspaper carrier, mail carrier, hairdresser, manicurist and trash collector.
