November 16th, 2009 Not the Way To Start the Work Week - UGGGGH! 1. Patriots vs. Colts - The Patriots outplayed the Colts the entire game and hand it away. Belichick’s decision to go for it on fourth down can be justified by the times of the Colts last three scoring drives in the fourth quarter: 2:04 / 1:49 / 1:47 OFFENSE: * Last Patriot drive only took 23 seconds! DEFENSE: * Patriots should have let Addai score with 1:17 left on his 13 yard run to the one yard line OFFICIALS * Even though the Patriots couldn’t challenge the Faulk catch - the officials got the biggest play of the game WRONG! STATS: * Patriots had more rushing yards (113 - 91), passing yards (364-316), time of possession (35:02-24:58), total plays (72-63) MISC: * After the decision to go for it on 4th down the second most talked about topic will be Pats security guy knocking the NBC camera man down while he ran along side Belichick OTHER * Faith Hill provides a nice opening for the game 2.
